John Ryan, MYA’s chairman, is one of the pioneers of the cosmetic surgery industry with over 25 years of experience.

Before launching MYA, John owned Europe’s largest cosmetic surgery company. His revolutionary ideas and unique drive transformed the small mid 1970’s business into a multimillion pound company.

John is responsible for over 100,000 cosmetic surgery procedures. His forward thinking also led him to be part of the groundbreaking reality television show The Clinic. The intriguing documentary gave the world a revealing insight into cosmetic surgery and helped demystify its stigma.

2002 marked John selling his company. As the owner and Chairman, this break allowed him to focus on Doncaster Rovers, who shared a level of success synonymous with John. Now that he is involved in cosmetic surgery again, he has drawn upon 25 years of cosmetic surgery experience to bring together some of the world’s most skilled surgeons.
