Do you know of anyone who can perform cosmetic surgery on toes as my 2nd toes are much longer than my first and i absolutly hate them.
Hi Jojo,
We do not offer this at the present time. We advise that you see your local chiropodist and ask them what is best to do. Sorry I could not be more help.

Hi, do you remove cafe au lait birthmarks from asian skin. i have medium brown asian skin. i went to one place and they said its very difficult on asian skin and may get darker or lighter and sometimes even comes back after lazer therapy and also takes a long time to see changes
Hi Sonia,
Thanks for your question. I will have to get back to you on this.
Sophie
Hi Sonia,
Sorry It has taken a while to get back to you.
I have asked Anne Harrison from Non-Surgical and this is her reply.
Pigmented lesions are caused by an excess of melanin in certain skin cells (melanin is the substance that gives skin its color). Some pigmented lesions, such as café-au-lait, are closer to the surface (in the epidermis), while others are deeper in the skin (in the dermis) this is why the results using lasers can vary.
Café–au-lait marks vary in color and depending on your natural skin tone you may not absorb the same color of light from the laser as other skin types. Some lasers emit only one color of light, often requiring doctors to use two or more lasers and repeated sessions to treat pigmented lesions, perhaps this is why the clinic that you spoke to weren’t too encouraging.
Removing café-au-lait spots and other birthmarks takes patience, as multiple treatments are needed. Sessions are usually spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However most practices should be using lasers that emit several colours meaning they can treat all skin colours effectively. I would shop around and perhaps contact a laser specialist as their equipment should be up to date.
Unfortunately MYA does not offer laser treatments; it is an area we will be expanding into in the near future.
Hope this helps.

hello ive always been over weight and have tried many ways to lose it all of which being unsucessful. im 5ft 4in and weight is about 13/14 stone i am 18 years old and have suffered years with my weight and would like to lead a normal life and not have to go in larger shops with dont cater for my age. i would like to get rid of the fat from my bum, stomake, and inner thighs as they have always rubed and hurt.
Hi Stacy,
To have a good result from liposuction you need to have good elasticity in your skin, otherwise the result you have is loose and wavy skin.
All you would be doing is replacing one problem with another. It is best to come in and have a consultation to see what the best option is.

Hi, i am overweight for my height as i am 5ft 1in and weight 10st 7lbs, i have tried every kind of diet i know and exercising but i am still unhappy it makes me feel deprest. So i was just woundering can i qualify to get liposuction?
Hi Adele,
Liposuction is for spot areas.
It is not a quick fix or alternative to dieting.
Liposuction can shape an area but you must have good elasticity in the skin to help it go back in to place.
It is not an immediate result and can take months to get a good result.
If you have problems with your weight, you should visit your GP.
It may be your metabolism.

Hi there again i have cellilite so would a buttock and thigh lift work?
Hi Adele,
I’m afraid there is no surgery for cellulite. Would be great if there was!Cellulite needs detox exercise and massage.

Hi, I had a belly button ring about 10 yrs ago and now have a raised and misshapen ‘twisted’ scar (about1cm in diameter) which I would like to fix. I was wondering if this was at all possible either with or without surgical procedures.
Hi Katrina,
It would usually be surgical, but what needs to be made clear is if it is a keloid scar.
This is when the scar goes thick and lumpy -if so- the corrective surgery will go the same way.

hi, i was just wondering if you did mole removal?
and also if it was just for a removal of a mole would you have to be over 18? thanks
Hi Laura,
Yes, you would need to be 18 years old.
You should try your GP.
Some GPs do this for free.

Hi, after giving birth to my 2 children my last pregnancy has left me with a road map of stretchmarks on my tummy where they come up just over my belly button and i’m quite paranoid about them. My question is do u do any procedures that can remove these stretch marks pls and if u do what is the cost.
thanks
Hi Donna,
The only procedure to eliminate stretch marks (and over hang) is a tummy tuck.
This will take away all the excess skin, fat and stretch marks form the navel to the pubic area.
If your abdominal muscles have broken from the pregnancies, then these can be repaired at the same time.
You will have a line from hip to hip which will be hidden in your panty line.
The cost is 5,800 pounds and includes everything.
Consultations are free and we offer a finance package.

hiya! it doesnt say anywhere how much the procedures are, is there such thing as a pricelist? lol or a rough guestamate? im interested in liposuction but would just like an idea of the cost. thankyou
Hi Gemma,
The cost depends on how many areas you have done.
An example is:
1 area £2,700, then any other area is £600 per area if done at the same time.
This includes surgeon fee, anesthetist fee, garments and 3 years after care.
The consultation with MYA surgeon is FREE.
We often do competitions and promotions. Have a look at the competition page.

Hi MYA,
It isn’t mentioned on your site but i was wondering whether or not you perform Umbilicoplasty- which i think is the name for navel re- shaping or plastic surgery on an ‘outie’ belly button.
thanks.
Hi Ellouise,
We have surgeons that perform this procedure. Please call 08000 14 10 14 to book a free consultation.
