I was ready to go to theatre all pre op details had been taken surgeon marked out where he was going to cut only to be told after 6 hours waiting to go down to theatre that my bmi at 32 was too high. I was very annoyed as they were aware of my bmi before I left the consultaion and assured that as long as I signed a disclaimer about the blood issue there would be no problem. PS I am not a Jehover Witness.
