Hi, would i still be able to have a breast reduction if in the past i’ve had pyoderma on my breasts only. I would also like to have a tummy tuck/fat removal or lyposuction. I have lost over 5 stone myself (i have 3 children.) I have spoke to my consultant dermatologist who says i may bleed alot and may need steriod, but couldn’t see why not ask a specialist in that field. Kindest regards Rita
Hi Rita, Well done, 5 stone is a lot of weight. I feel you should go to the consultant you are under and ask him for some kind on letter to say if he thinks you are suitable for surgery. Bleeding would be a problem and we would not do surgery. Also, if you are on steroids it prevents healing. Hope this helps. MYA
