YOUR QUESTION...
Do i have to quit smoking to have a breast enlargement ?
BACKGROUND...

hi i have been on alot of sites and rang up for information from alot of people for a breast enlargement, but everyone says that you HAVE to quit smoking for 1 week before the procedure and 1 week after it aswel. Is this a rule that is set in stone or is it just advice, as i have tried many times to quit and can not do it no matter what i use and i feel this is losing me the chance to have the surgery. I noticed on your website it says we advise people to quit and i was just wondering if I would have to or not?
thanks

OUR EXPERT ANSWER...

Hi Kez,
It is desirable to stop smoking but in the opinion of our medical director for an enlargement there is no direct or significant risk.
