I have sagging breasts and am desperate to have them corrected. I am not sure if I can afford a Breast Uplift, would an implant on its own help?
This is a question that cannot be answered accurately without a consultation from the surgeon. The answer will depend on the degree of ptosis (sagging), how low the nipple position is and the elasticity of your skin. If the nipple positioning is considerably low (generally lower than the breast creaseline) and the skin is lax, an implant alone will not solve the problem. In some cases it can be an option to have a larger implant which could potentially provide enough volume to lift the breasts. It is worth bearing in mind that you may need to have a Breast Uplift later on in life even with a larger implant, as this is not seen as a permanent solution.
