Hi, I was admitted to the Manchester lifestyle hospital at 7-30. I had to sign some forms and then a man took me and my bags up to my room. I didn't have my own room as I was only a day case. Soon after I was in my room the anaesthetist came to see me and then Mr. Auraksi. He drew on me and wrote the implant size on my chest, it became real at that point. I sat on the bed and read a few magazines, then the nurse came in around 10.00 and explained what was going to happen and to get changed as I was next down. I got changed then she came back up for me. We went down in the lift and got to the room. I was shaking and very scared. When I last looked at the clock it was 10-40 and when I opened my peepers it was 12-30. It all happened so quick and I felt in no pain. I went back to the ward and had a sleep and then had a cup of tea and some biscuits. Then I had some tea. The nurse then put my bra on and took my drains out and told me if I was ready to get dressed I could. I got dressed and was discharged at 8-00. Altogether a fantastic experience, would recommend MYA to anyone. xx
