I want a breast enlargement and I know that a certain percentage of people get capsular contracture. If this happened and I needed to have surgery again would this be sorted out by MYA?
Capsular contracture is very uncommon in this day and age, due to the high quality of implants that are used. We use Allergan implants which have a textured surface - it has been proven that this texturing helps to prevent encapsulation occurring. In the unlikely event that it did happen, MYA offer full aftercare for 5 years. Your Patient Coordinator and Surgeon will be able to give you more information at your consultation.
