YOUR QUESTION...
What is involved in the Buttock lift procedure?
BACKGROUND...

I want more information on thigh / bottom surgery. What can i expect from this type of procedure.

OUR EXPERT ANSWER...

Hi Carol,
Thigh and buttock lifts are carried out under general anaesthetic. An oval shaped incision is made at the top of the thigh or buttock where surplus tissue is removed. Surgery can also be performed using techniques known as ‘suture’ or ‘threadlift’. Here, sutures or threads with tiny teeth are placed through a small insertion where they are pulled upwards and secured.

How long does it take?

Surgery takes around 3 hours.

Is it right for you?

Diet and exercise should be your first port of call, but if it’s not working, this is a great option. It’s also a good solution for those who’ve found loose skin a problem after rapid weight loss. However, any surgery is a big decision and we’ll provide all the details you need to make an informed choice.
