YOUR QUESTION...
What is the ideal weight to be for having breast reduction?
BACKGROUND...

I have huge boobs and i'm in a lot of pain with them (38g cup). I have 5 children and they don't sit on my chest they lay on my chest. I've been to my doctors about this and they have told me that I need to lose weight however since having children I have lost 2 stone. I'm now about 15 stone witch makes my breasts look stupid. I have never been able to not wear a bra and it gets me down all the time and having to buy bras is always an issue and can take hours off my day. Please could u give me some advice.

OUR EXPERT ANSWER...

I am sure a breast reduction and uplift is the right procedure for you however there are a few precautions to take in relation to the anesthesia and your overall body weight. You need to have the correct BMI (Body Mass Index) in order to assess your risks for anesthetic. You need to discuss this at the consultation. You should be a good candidate however we need to assess your height too and BMI. MYA provide free consultations so please call 08000 14 10 14 to book.
