After any kind of surgery there is a risk of bruising, swelling and bleeding. Specific to Rhinoplasty there may be difficulty in breathing and changes in sensation, however it is important to remember that these are usually temporary and most patients do not notice the effects of these after a few weeks.  Patients considering Rhinoplasty should be aware of asymmetry as the healing process is not symmetrical and once settled slight imperfections may still exist.
