YOUR QUESTION...
Where and how big are scars left after mastopexy?
OUR EXPERT ANSWER...

Patients are left with an anchor type scar following a breast uplift procedure. This is a scar around the areola, down the centre of your breast and a small line in the crease under the breast. There is no reason that the scar should be any more than a thin white line once it has healed, however scarring can vary from patient to patient dependant on your healing pattern. Using other scars on your body is a good bench mark to access how well you heal.

Why not come in to clinic and one of our coordinators can show you some before and after photo’s of this operation.
