Body contouring has “dramatic” results

Women who are unhappy with their figures could invest in body contouring, it has been claimed.

Dr Howard T Bellin, a New York cosmetic surgeon, explained that body contouring is a combination of cosmetic surgery procedures to give patients a look which may be impossible otherwise.

"Body contouring is great for men and women who’ve struggled with specific body areas for years but are ready to invest in body enhancement," he said. "You can combine procedures for dramatic body enhancement."

Options are listed as breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, liposuction and a tummy tuck.

Dr Bellin warned that not all body contouring will have the same results, as patient proportions differ greatly.

He advised those seeking the treatment to base their desired figure on their own unique body type.

In the UK, 44 per cent of adults would consider having cosmetic surgery, according to a Mintel survey.
