Award-winning Indian actor and politician, Govinda, has revealed plans to go under the knife in a bid to rekindle his acting career, according to new reports.
The 49-year-old Bollywood star has ambitions to return to the film set as an action hero, instead of his signature comic roles.
"I’m thinking of going in for corrective surgery for my skin and face. Looks sell. And I need to look my best. My friends have sweet-talked me into it," he said.
"However, before the surgery, I have to complete my current assignments. Most are either on the verge of completion or release. I have seven releases in the next one year after which I want to come back with an entirely different look."
As an actor, Govinda has starred in more than 120 Bollywood films and is best known for his roles in comedy hits such as Shola Aur Shabnam, Aankhen and Haseena Maan Jaayegi.
