News Image Almost half of Brits would welcome the gift of Botox treatments this Christmas, new research has found.

A recent survey carried out by consumer watchdog Which? revealed that 50 per cent of people aged between 16 and 24 would like to receive Botox for Christmas as well as 45 per cent of 55 to 64-year-olds.

In response to the findings, Jenny Driscoll, Which? health campaigner, advised: "Our main advice for people is, don’t take Botox treatment lightly.

"Whether you’ve received vouchers as a present, or you are buying the treatment for someone else, the last thing you want to do is put yourself or your loved ones at risk, so make sure you do your research."

With more wrinkles emerging from credit crunch stress, the results show that one in ten Brits under the age of 35 would consider giving someone Botox as a gift this festive season.ADNFCR-1234-ID-18946758-ADNFCR
