Botox is becoming increasingly popular for men who want to perform well "in the boardroom and back in the dating scene" as they get older.
That is the opinion of Dr Paul Cohen, who told the Sudbury Star that Botox was being picked by a growing number of men.
The cosmetic surgeon revealed that men were increasingly coming to realise that it was important for them to maintain a youthful appearance if they hoped to succeed in their professional and personal lives.
"Men have a tendency to look angry or tired as they age, which can impact both their work and personal life," Dr Cohen told the paper.
"Today’s modern man recognises the importance of looking his best.
"Botox … can safely take years off his appearance, keeping him at the top of his game both in the boardroom and back in the dating scene, for example."
Recently, Great White frontman Jack Russell said too many men lied about cosmetic surgery.
"I didn’t want to be one of those guys who said, ‘Oh, I stopped drinking,’ or, ‘I’m using a cool face cream’," he said of his decision to go public about his own surgery.
