Breast augmentation patients ‘want to look natural’

The majority of breast augmentation patients are seeking a new bust which is in proportion with their natural figure, it has been claimed.

US television channel KTEN reported that breast augmentation is the most popular procedure in the cosmetic surgery industry, with women seeking a "larger, fuller, rounder" bust.

Patient Gayra Freeman explained that she had a breast enlargement after losing a lot of weight during her two pregnancies.

"I wanted to have natural looking breasts that would be comparable to my body," she said.

Cosmetic surgeon Dr Harry Galoob said that he asks women to look at various before and after photos of previous patients to gain a better idea of what kind of implant they would like.

"The two biggest decisions implant patients make are what size they want and what kind of implant they prefer," he added.

A recent report by Australian Women’s Weekly found that 45 per cent of females want cosmetic surgery.
