Hong Kong and Hollywood actor Chow Yun Fat has admitted that he underwent a cosmetic procedure over 20 years ago.
The star of action films such as Bulletproof Monk admitted in a Korean TV interview that he had undergone plastic surgery.
He was promoting his latest film, Dragonball, when he made the confession to the presenter of the show.
The 53-year-old said: "As I grew older, my eyelids began to droop. I began going for cosmetic surgery in Hong Kong when I was filming The God Of Gamblers in 1989."
Chow went on to tell the presenter that he could recommend a surgeon in Hong Kong and told him "you will definitely get a good job done for a reasonable price!".
Roles in films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End have raised his profile in the West.
He has been recognised by the Asian film industry having won three Hong Kong film awards and two Golden Horse awards.
