A politician has been told she could hugely improve her figure by procedures such as liposuction and bottom reshaping.
Ann Widdecombe spoke to US-based cosmetic surgeon Dr Steven Shevlak as part of an ITV documentary about dieting.
He told her that she could have a ‘perfect’ size ten body and younger looking face if she went through with operations such as liposuction and breast reduction.
The expert also showed Widdecombe a computerised image of what she would look like after all the surgery was complete.
The MP said that she was shocked by the number of operations available to woman, adding that "with the help of these surgical procedures I’d be a new woman in an effort to reach what someone, somewhere, has decided is the perfect image".
Among the suggestions from Dr Shevlak to improve Widdecombe’s look were a tummy tuck, nose job and eye lid surgery.
The programme, named Ann Widdecombe Versus The Diet Industry, is to be screened on Thursday at 9pm.
