Taylor Swift is no stranger to media furore thanks to Kanye West’s interruption of her VMA acceptance speech back in 2009; now she’s in the limelight thanks to some more controversy.

This time, the question on everyone’s lips is: did Taylor Swift have a boob job?

The speculation started at the end of April, with Hollywood Life featuring a photo of Ms Swift in a stripy frock that seemed to show her previously petite bosom looking somewhat larger.

It went on to quote cosmetic surgeon Dr Anthony Youn as saying he thought the songstress had “increased her cup size from a small A to a striking C”.

“It looks very nice and proportional,” Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Richard Fleming also told the publication.

However, a “source close to Swift” speaking to Gossip Cop is said to have firmly denied the rumours that the country singer has undergone surgery, leaving everyone asking: did she or didn’t she?

In an interview with the Radio Times, reported by The Telegraph (May 8th), the star of stage and screen admitted that she’s gone beyond the consideration stage to actively saving up to go under the knife.

She said: “I’d be a hypocrite if I said I’d never get a facelift – I’m saving up for one – but it’ll be tiny adjustments – the kind of thing that just makes you look less tired. I’m not a fan of the ‘wind-tunnel’ face.”

Despite this admission, Ms Barber, who stars in BBC1 drama Silk, seemed relaxed about the ageing process and told the magazine she felt far from her real age.

She said: “I don’t care about getting older. I really don’t. I’m 54, I feel 26 and I act 12.”

Those working in front of the camera often feel the pressure to look good and technological advances are only serving to increase this feeling, it would seem.

So much so that actress Charlize Theron joked during a recent acceptance speech that she would have had cosmetic surgery a decade ago if she’d known the film industry was going to head down the 3D route.

According to Digitalspy (April 29th), during her accepentance speech for the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film award at the CinemaCon 2012 Awards Show in Las Vegas, the Monster actress said: “Thanks for giving me an opportunity in an industry that I love so much. And can I just say, if I knew that 3D was going to be such a big deal, I would have gotten that boob job ten years ago”.

The 36-year-old even went on to promise those who had helped her in her career that she would dedicate future cosmetic surgery to them.

She said: “None of this is a single road, so you don’t travel it alone, so I want to thank everybody who has been crazy enough to stand by me. And I’m going to get that boob job for you.”

Avatar and Pirates of the Caribbean actress Zoe Saldana has admitted that she may be tempted to have a breast augmentation operation in the future.

During an appearance The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet last week, the 33-year-old said she’d had the possibility of a boob job suggested to her in the past and she had thought “And it just hit me, like, ‘Why not?[…]‘”

Zoe defended her right to choose whether or not to have cosmetic surgery and said: “If an old man was having a midlife crisis and can buy a Porsche and date a 17-year-old, I can buy myself a pair and be the sexiest soccer mom you’ve ever seen.”

She went on to say that having cosmetic surgery is a personal choice that should be done for the right “reasons that are balanced for you” and it should not therefore be judged as right or wrong.

Amy Childs, formerly of The Only Way is Essex, has been recently been talking very openly about her plans to have a second boob job, but she wants the world to know she hasn’t gone ahead with the op just yet.

Writing in her New! column earlier this week (May 8th), Celebrity Big Brother star Ms Childs responded to newspaper claims that her cleavage had been looking more ample when papped in one particularly tight T-shirt.

She insisted: “I’ve not gone under the knife – it’s just a bit of extra padding in my bra.”

Amy is no stranger to using temporary measures to enhance her breasts; she once famously confessed that she used to pad out her bra with five chicken fillets before she had cosmetic surgery to boost her bust.

After reassuring her fans that she hasn’t even organised her new surgery yet, she assured them: “You’ll be the first to hear when I do.”

Ex Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona has been proudly displaying the results of her latest cosmetic surgery operations – lipo and a tummy tuck.

Last week we told how Kerry had decided to go under the knife to get rid of the “kangaroo pouch” on her middle and since the op the reality TV star has been keen to show off the results.

An article in the MailOnline (May 9th) features snaps of the blonde mother-of-four posing for photographers in tight jegging trousers, a tight long length T-shirt, high heels and a scarf.

Ms Katona has reportedly been combining diet and exercise efforts with the surgery for maximum results, though her work schedule could play havoc with her regime as she has recently been filming for foodie programme Come Dine with Me.

Although Kerry has not revealed who her fellow contestants are, she did admit in her OK! column this week that she was terrified of taking her own turn at hosting a dinner party because she “can’t cook”.

Amy Childs is preparing for a world takeover if recent reports are to be believed, though her attempts will not include trying her hand at glamour modelling – unless the price is right of course.

In a recent interview with Heat magazine discussed in a Daily Mirror article (May 1st), Amy discussed her plans to have a new boob job but said she was unlikely to use her assets to launch a Page 3 career like surgically-enhanced Katie Price.

“I’d do Playboy if I was 35 and my career was going like this [a downward slope]. Give me a million thank you,” she said, before admitting her dad would likely “kill” her if she went down that route.

Rather than planning cosmetic surgery to enhancer her career, Amy revealed she wanted the new op for maintenance reasons, as her previous implants have dropped.

“I’m having them put back up,” she said.

When you have cameras focussed on you day in day out, you are likely to feel the pressure to look your best, but many TV presenters remain tight-lipped about any work they have done.

This certainly isn’t the case with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, hosts on the Today show in the US, who not only admitted to indulging in cosmetic surgery procedures but had treatments carried out live on air.

In a special one hour programme audiences watched Kathie Lee undergo an eyebrow lift and Hoda have hair removed from her right arm.

Other patients were also featured in the show, which highlighted how popular procedures were carried out.

Treatments placed in the limelight included Botox, spider vein removal and a cellulaze procedure, with viewers urged to look away from their screens when some of the more hard to stomach processes were carried out.

There’s nothing better than hitting the dance floor with your mates on a Saturday night to help you unwind and that certainly seems to be the view of Chloe Sims.

The reality TV star was papped partying hard with mates last weekend in local haunts in Essex and if the photographs published in the Mail Online (May 8th) are anything to go by, she was certainly out for some fun.

As well as letting her long brunette hair down, The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star showed off the results of her boob job in a revealing white peplum dress, which she seemed to be wearing without a bra.

She completed the outfit with a black leather jacket, quilted black leather handbag and black sandals.

After visiting a few venues to drink in the area Ms Sims had a hankering for some fast food, tweeting: “Lost looking for Mc donalds!! Agggg so lost right now xxx”

During her time in the jungle, model and actress Jessica Jane Clement was keen to show off the results of her breast augmentation in a bikini, but she’s revealed a whole new shy side by apologising for recently putting too much on show.

The morning after a red carpet appearance at the FHM Sexiest Women in the World party earlier this month, the Real Hustle star tweeted: “Showed more side boob than I thought last night!! All the grandmas and granddads out there, avert your eyes!! Hehehe xx”

The star was referring to the amount of flesh shown by her show-stopping long cream backless gown, which revealed a lot of her side including the results of her boob job. However, she did manage to preserve her dignity by keeping her nipples covered.

Despite the mishap, she seemed to have a good evening, tweeting: “Fab time at FHM party! First to arrive, first to leave-rock n roll! Just wanna get my husband to be to myself, wink wink”.
