A former TV presenter has revealed that plastic surgery change his life for the better.
Bill Buckley, who used to present BBC sketch show That’s Life alongside Esther Rantzen, revealed that he spent years embarrassed by his breasts.
However, he told the Daily Mail that he discovered by chance that the ‘man boobs’ were the result of a hormone imbalance known as gynaecomastia.
As a result, he decided in the 1990s to spend £4,000 on a breast reduction operation to correct the problem.
He revealed that his post-surgical chest was "most wonderful sight" he had ever seen.
"When the nurse first revealed my new chest, I looked at myself in the mirror. Apart from the black and purple bruising, I could see an ordinary 40-year-old bloke, perfectly average and unremarkable," he told the paper.
"At last I felt like a man, not 95 per cent a man, but 100 per cent. I was euphoric.
"I want these men and others out there to know there are options. Surgery changed my life, making me the man I always wanted to be."
Recently, ex-Coronation Street star Suranne Jones revealed that she was considering have her bust size reduced with surgery.
