Has SJP opted for cosmetic surgery?

It appears that Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has opted to have cosmetic surgery to remove her famous mole.

Various commentators have noted that the blemish was curiously reduced when the actress – who made her name playing sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw – attended a recent baseball match in New York.

People noted that it was clearly visible at the premier of the Sex and the City Movie in May and again at a charity event held in the US last month, prompting speculation that SJP might have opted for surgery.

The Daily Mail noted: "The transformation from prominent mole to almost invisible blemish seemed far too dramatic to be the result of make-up artistry."

The actress’ publicist denied the claim, but another source confirmed to the paper that some work had been carried out.

"I don’t know when exactly she had it done but she has definitely had a procedure. She’s kept it really quiet though," the inside told the paper.

Several celebrities have had moles removed in recent years, including Ewan McGregor and singer Enrique Iglesias.
