Liposuction ‘can remove’ armpit fat

Liposuction could be an ideal procedure for ladies who suffer with armpit fat, one plastic surgeon has indicated.

American Health and Beauty cited an interview on TV show The Doctors in which an expert claimed liposuction can help get rid of "corset overspill".

"Recovery time is usually very short, almost none in fact and patients only need to wear compression garments for a couple of weeks to ensure proper healing," he added.

According to the doctor, the procedure takes a short amount of time and uses a syringe under the skin to draw the excess fat out.

The publication indicated the process will get rid of the "little roll of fat" next to a female's bra strap, which can be "embarrassing" when wearing a strapless top or dress.

Another plastic surgeon recently observed liposuction can help a woman to drop a couple of dress sizes.

And he explained the most popular areas for liposuction are around the waist, under the chin and on the lower abdomen.
