Lisa Rinna confesses lip surgery past

American actress Lisa Rinna has confirmed years of media speculation by admitting to undergoing lip enhancement surgery, People reports.

In a recent interview on the Today Show, the 45-year-old former soap star revealed that she had silicone injected into her lips to achieve a fuller pout at the beginning of her career over two decades ago.

"That’s the pink elephant in the room. This is the first time I have told what I have done to my lips," she confessed.

Lisa explained that her inspiration for opting for lip surgery came from Beaches star Barbara Hershey’s famous pout, encouraging her to have silicon in her top lip.

However, she clarified: "I do not blow up and down my lips."

The celebrity mother-of-two has previously admitted to having facial rejuvenation treatments such as Botox and Juvederm and is also rumoured to have gone under the knife for a breast lift.
