Soap actress turned TV presenter Denise Welch has revealed her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery in a bid to delay the signs of ageing.
According to the Sunday Sun, the 50-year-old mum of two opted for a range of facial procedures to celebrate her milestone birthday earlier this year.
The Loose Women host admitted to investing in upper and lower eyelid lifts, Botox and fillers for an overall more youthful appearance.
"I just wanted to be fresher. My crow’s feet and baggy eyes always bothered me," she told the newspaper.
"It was less painful and didn’t look as bad as I thought," she added. "The anaesthetic injections were more painful than the fillers, but I wouldn’t be scared to have it again."
In addition to having laser treatments to reduce the appearance of troublesome fine lines and wrinkles, Denise has also expressed a desire to have her neck done in the near future.
