Meryl Streep admits DIY boob job

Oscar winning actress Meryl Streep has revealed that it is not beyond her to cheat to get a part.

In fact, the Doubt star was so desperate for one role that she gave herself a DIY boob job.

The 59-year old actress said: "I have cheated to get a part. The first time I was on Broadway years ago. Before the audition I filled by 32DD bra cups with paper towels.

"I got the part! I did it again to Sydney Pollack for Out of Africa. I’d heard he didn’t think I was sexy enough so I filled them up again."

Meryl has featured in some of the biggest films of recent years, including Doubt, for which she was nominated for an Oscar, The Devil Wears Prada, The Manchurian Candidate and Mamma Mia.

She has been married to her partner Don Gummer since 1978 and has four children, although she was once engaged to actor John Cazale.
