Plastic surgery customers being offered ‘better value’ in economic downturn

The current economic climate means that it is a "buyers market" for those considering plastic surgery.

That is according to image enhancement coach Wendy Lewis, who has suggested that those looking to undergo cosmetic surgery procedures should take the time to do "comparison shopping".

She explained that people may want to consider having neck lift surgery rather than opting for a full face lift.

Commenting on the current situation, Ms Lewis said it is "an ideal time for men and women seeking to improve or maintain their youthful image to look at less pricey options".

She went on to say that through her research she had found "many more top doctors are offering better value to the patients who come in now for surgery".

In addition, she noted a move towards Botox patients taking longer between treatments and she observed that people were seeking out "special offers and deals".

Highland News recently reported on a dentist who began to offer Botox treatment to his dental customers about three years ago and has since "seen numbers go up and up".
