News Image Women in Liverpool are most likely to want cosmetic surgery during their retirement, research has proven.

According to MGM’s Retirement Nation, a study of over 3,000 Brits of all ages, one in thirty women plan to have a procedure such as breast augmentation or a facelift when they hit old age.

However, among women from Liverpool this figure rose to six per cent, the firm found.

Men were revealed to have rather different plans to celebrate retirement, with one in 50 claiming they intend to travel in space when they finish employment.

Perhaps people from Liverpool are the most likely to achieve their retirement dreams, as the company also claimed that 61 per cent have savings in place and 13 per cent feel "totally prepared" financially.

Research by myprotein.co.uk recently found that nearly three-quarters of the British population are unhappy with their figure, but only a third are taking any action to change it.ADNFCR-1234-ID-18626062-ADNFCR
