Surgery ‘can turn the clock back’

People should not have to resign themselves to ageing and losing their looks, it has been claimed.

Libby Babbage told the Daily Mirror that she sees no reason why people need to look their age when they can look younger.

The 57-year-old has had £25,000 worth of cosmetic surgery including a facelift, liposuction and breast augmentation.

"It has changed my life for the better and enabled me to carry on enjoying my looks, instead of just feeling frumpy and middle-aged," she explained.

"Thanks to the surgery I still have an exuberance and zest for life that comes from looking and feeling great."

Ms Babbage, a former model and Playboy bunny, said that having tighter skin and looking youthful makes her feel like she did 20 years ago.

Women made up 91 per cent of the cosmetic surgery patients in the UK last year, according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
