A cosmetic surgery makeover has shaved six years off a mother-of-two’s age, it has been reported.
When 39-year-old Nikki Powditch first appeared on Channel 4′s 10 Years Younger programme, a poll of people guessed she was 53.
However, her tired face was soon transformed by a team of cosmetic surgeons who gave her a brow lift, a face lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty.
It was recently revealed in the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery that drooping eyelids and wrinkles in the forehead are often associated with tiredness.
Ms Powditch was also given a fat transfer from her stomach to her cheeks, fillers and a trichloracetic acid peel.
After a hair appointment with award-winning consultant Andrew Barton and a full makeup makeover, a new poll of 100 people guessed her age to be 33 – 20 years off her original poll age and six years younger than her actual age.
