A SIMPLE & SAFE PROCEDURE
Buttock implant surgery is performed under a general anaesthetic and can take between 1 and 2 hours to perform. The surgeon makes a discrete incision between the buttock cheeks and a space is made behind the upper buttock muscle, to place the implant. The surgeon will then do exactly the same on the other side and ensure the implants are evenly placed.
QUICK RECOVERY
An overnight stay in hospital will be required and you will need between a week and two weeks off work to recover. To combat swelling a compression garment will need to be worn for two weeks both day and night. As with a buttock lift, sitting will be quite uncomfortable as this puts pressure on the incision. You will not be allowed to exercise for six weeks.
