The Procedure
Is usually performed under general anesthetic. There are various procedures depending on the extent of the surgery. But the most common is the crescent shape. An incision is made in a moon shape above the areola and excess tissue is removed. The nipple is then relocated to a higher position, giving a pert, youthful shape.
