My name is Carina and I am a student at the London School of Economics. I have wanted a breast enlargement ever since I can remember and for my 21st birthday my parents finally gave in and agreed to help out with the payments. For my birthday present they gave me £1,000 towards my surgery which cost £3,995 in total.
How I financed my procedure!
As I am a student I could not be on the loan agreement form but my parents agreed to put their names down and I set up a standing order which meant some of the money I was earning from my part time job was being sent directly to them each month. As they paid the first £1,000 this meant I had £2,995 left to pay myself. MYA helped me and my parents come to an agreement on monthly payments of £81 per month for 4 years, just over £20 a week! As I worked in a local bar 2 nights a week I basically paid it off with the tips I made. Having the surgery really made my university life a great experience. My confidence grew and I had the courage to get involved in a lot more activities which helped me make some great friends!
