• Why did you want the procedure?

  I wanted the procedure as I have always been self conscious of my breasts and clothes never seemed to fit properly

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I had booked a consultation with Hospital Group Dolan Park but got an appointment sooner with MYA the reviews for Dolan Park didn’t look brilliant nor did the GMC reports so I was beginning to have doubts. I felt comfortable straight away with MYA and booked surgery same day I loved the Forum and the majority of people seemed happy with their results

• How was your consultation?

  Dr Kazzazi was very professional and no nonsense which suited me as I am not a chatty person. He advised I was borderline uplift which I turned down so he advised 400 moderate round implants as I have a wide chest this was to be placed under the muscle.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  I arrived at 8.30 and was taken to my room. The process was explained to me and then we were left to watch television.

  there was a delay due to the previous surgery taking longer so I had my pre med about 11am the Anaesthetist came in and explained that with the sedation I would be asleep and breathing for myself.

  dr Kazzizi came and marked me up and introduced his son and asked if it was ok for him to observe my surgery which I agreed to

  at 11.30 I walked to the theatre and was sedated

  1.30 I was brought back to my room surgery completed

  I was given tea and toast about 2.30 but couldn’t swallow the toast had to wash it down with water.

  I took a long time to recover from Sedation so didn’t leave till 5.30pm

• How was your recovery?

  So far my recovery is going well I have strapping off Friday so will update then.

  The first night my shoulders were agony but took CoCodamol and felt better the next morning chest pain is manageable with pain relief

• Are you happy with your results?

  Yes I am happy with results so far
