I don't know what to do. I had my surgery date last year in May already and cancelled it because I freaked out for many reasons. My personal life was difficult, well still is, I was so unsure about over or under and size and since I am selfemployed I got scared if something goes wrong and I can't work for longer than expected.

Now after taking a step back and making decisions, I am actually excited again and would love to have my boobs already. However I can't get myself to make a new appointment because I have no one to go with me, be there when I wake up or pick me up the next day. Had that problem last time also. I know what a rollercoaster it will be again and I am not sure I can do it all by myself. My friends could only come on the weekend and my mum still doesn't know. Most of my friends live abroad, so not many here right now.

So did anyone do this all by themselves? How did you get home? How did you handle it all? Public transportation will be difficult with that clinic I chose.

Sorry for the long post. Hope you can cheer me up.

hi ladies, thought I would update you on my emotional rollercoaster..had my uplift with implant on 5/1/2012..had 330cc implants. I was excited, scared, worried etc..After the op they were really swollen and i spent everyday on here looking at other ladies results: worried mine wernt big enough, round enough, high enought....thought everyone elses looked better, then felt really guilty of what else I could of spend £6000 on....I healed really well and am really pleased with the scars. Yesterday I asked my hubby to take some pics as I havnt taken any for a few days....I was shocked they looked perfect, the right size, shape and in the right position..it felt so strange, i had become obsessed with looking at them and comparing them to other pics....today i am a happy bunny, going for a bra fitting on sat...to all the early post op ladies, be patient, every body is a different shape and everyone heals at different stages..i will put some new pics on tomorrow xx

I had my consultation today with the surgeon and he said he would only go to 380cc which is less then I wanted really. I was hoping for at least 400cc. Can I please add some of you girls that had 380cc so I can have a look at them. I'm really thinking that I wont be happy with that size, as it may take me to the size I used to be last year before I lost weight.
Thanks.

Hi.
I am so excited about just getting booked in for my inital consultation in 2 weeks...wish it could be sooner! I have been considering a ba for over 5 years now and my boyfriend is being really supportive about it all as he knows how much my little 36A's knock my confidence.
I was just wondering, I know it depends on a number of factors, but I'd be looking at going to a D cup....I'm 5ft 6' size 10 on top with small framed shoulders. Anyone out there who has gone from a 36a to a d cup?? I'm wanting to look big but natural at the same time. I'm booked in at the Manchester clinic or my inital consultation and would be wanting the ba doing at a clinic in the NW
(preston/manchester/lancaster area) which surgeons cover that area?

Any help would be appreciated <img src="http://www.mya.co.uk/mya-space/mya-forums/my-plugins/default/icon_smile.gif" title=":)" class="bb_smilies" />

Some of you may remember me posting about MYA postponing my op date which should have been on 1st Feb ( makes me so sad thinking I should have lovely big boobies right now!) due to a previous eating disorder years and years ago. I'm literally desperate to get the op re scheduled as soon as possible, but it seems dr Adamo will not operate without a letter from the people who used to treat me. I have contacted them on numerous occasions and they point blank said they are not in a position to comment when they haven't seen me for over 2 years!! They said MYA should contact my GP again.

Anyway, my PC said I may have to swap surgeon, to dr Singh, which is fine, but he doesn't have a free consultation till the end of march which means I won't get operated on till at least April?!?!?

I'm not happy. I booked and paid for my procedure in December. I understand MYAs concerns for health reasons but I feel like they are making no effort whatsoever to try and keep my op with dr Adamo and get it done this month. They're leaving it all down to me to contact whoever which I have been doing but I'm just fed up of it.

Grrrrrr rant.

Looking back I now realised how much I rushed into things. I wish I met another surgeon and got there opinion as I feel mine look about a b?
I just keep thinking that if I had seen another surgeon I may have been offered slightly bigger and been more happy with them.
Sorry to rant but having a really boobie blue day! Xx
