    Hey Ladies,

I’m now 12 weeks post op after having my surgery at Fitzroy in London on 7th November with 325(l) &350(r) round HP implants placed under the muscle.

Linda likes to do her 12 week check-up around 10 weeks post op and that went well. She said they look lovely and natural and was very pleased with my result, she did confess that she was concerned about the potential result before my op because I have ‘severe’ chest wall asymmetry but it’s not that noticeable anymore.

My implants still have a lot of softening to do even though they have softened significantly already. I’ve been recommended to massage each breast every day to help the implants soften as it can take a long time for them to feel more like natural breasts because I had unders.

For my scars I’ve been using coconut oil daily and have now been recommended Kelo-Cote gel / Dermatix gel which hopefully will reduce the redness and help them fade. You can order these in at Boots for around £30 but it found them online for around £20.

I’ve got an Instagram page if you’d like to follow which has regular picture and video updates. Please send me a DM so I know who you are. http://www.instagram.com/mya.ba.2016 I’ve also got a number of other pictures on my profile.

Hopefully my pictures have attached, the front on boob shot was taken today. The picture of me in the bra was taken around 10WPO and as you can see I don’t get cleavage, this is because my breasts were naturally really far apart, although they are getting closer all of the time so maybe one day!

If you’ve got any questions just ask 🙂

Hi hun, they look amazing. Hope you dont mind me asking, when did they start feeling soft and how are you massaging them? I’m almost 7wpo and mine still feel hard. They were dropping until 3 wpo and stopped and now starting getting soft but can’t wait for them to feel like mine x

    Hey @nica
    Thanks!
It’s a tricky one to answer as they still feel firm to me but they have softened loads. I noticed them getting softer (but still very firm) at 2WPO and by 4WPO they had softened loads more but again still firm. They are still getting softer all of the time but I’ve still got a long way to go. I have squish videos on my IG page if you want to see.
I saw my surgeon at 10WPO for a premature 12 week check and she said I still had a lot of softening to do so advised I massage them every day. She recommended massaging the outer edge of the implants in a small circular motion and to massage the breast by sort gently pinching them (that’s the best way I can describe it). Basically your fingers should be flat against the outer side of your breast and your thumb on the inner side, gently pinch the implant and repeat.
It took until about 7weeks for them not to feel foreign and then a few weeks after that for them to feel mine most of the time.

Hi Imogen @ICRLM hope you’re well! They look fantastic!

I saw Linda this week for my 2 month post op check up (she didn’t do 6 week check up as she was on holiday).
Everything seems to be ok; she said about massaging as my muscle is still extremely tight, I was just wondering if she mentioned sleeping on your side? I completely forgot to ask her about it!

Also weirdly today I wore an underwired bra for the first time measured at 34DD/32E, and just got unchanged now and felt a little lump on the inside of my scar, they seem to have healed well on the outside as Linda suggested the dermatix gel (wish I saw your message earlier I paid 30 pounds for it at boots! I should have known you would have known a better place and price lol!). I think it might just be scar tissue, but I’m going to call the nurse tomorrow anyway. Have you experienced anything similar?
    Thanks xxx

    Thanks @sgirl 🙂
Your fine to sleep on your side from 8WPO so you’ll be fine to do so as long as it feels comfortable.
I had hard tissue inside my scars for about 8-10 weeks but this disappeared as my recovery progressed. It didn’t feel like a lump but just firm swollen tissue within my breast at the incision site so not sure if this is the same as what you’re experiencing, it’s best to speak with your nurse just for piece of mind.
Oh no. It is pricey stuff but if you buy another one I got my Kelo-Cote from http://www.livingbetterwith.com

Hi @icrlm, i can’t wait for them to feel like mine. They are getting softer everyday but still feel tight on the bottom. I would love to see those videos. Hope massaging will help to make them feel more natural x

@nica It’s different for everyone, I follow someone on Instagram who posted a 4WPO video and they were still so firm. Hooefully it won’t be long until they start to feel more normal.
I don’t think this forum can accommodate videos but it’s on my Instagram page http://www.instagram.com/mya.ba.2016 but you need to have an Instagram account to request to follow and see my posts.
I’m sure in time they will feel normal but it does take a long ol’ time.

@icrlm it sounds quite similar to what you’ve described. I’m just over 9 weeks now so it feels like the same thing tbh! The scarsfeel quite firm on the inside and healing on the outside the breasts are finally beginning to drop now at week 9! Which is fanatic news!

And thanks so much Imogen I’ll be sure to buy the next lot from there! Your little nuggets of information have made my journey so much easier !
On Linda’s notes I can’t quite make out the duration she said to use the gel…it says 18 months. Is that what she said to you as well? Xxxx

@sgirl that’s good! Slowly but surely getting there 🙂
I’m glad they’ve helped 🙂 I disposed of the paper Linda wrote on but think she wrote either 18 months or 2 years.

    Hi Imogen,

Like you I save severe assymetry. I am 3dpo now and having the strapping removed tomorrow. Has your bra size changed since your initial post op appointment to your recent photos? I’ve had 325cc Hp in right and 300 in left unders. Just wondering if my true size will be decided tomorrow or could they get bigger once the muscles relax and the implants soften? X

    Hey @sarahbm
In all honestly I’ve not had the time to get measured again but do need too! Visually they look bigger as they’ve continued to fluff. I’ve seen girls go up a cup size when measured at 10 weeks and up another size at 14 weeks so your 6 week measure may not be your final result. We all heal differently and if you’re muscles have relaxed quicker then others then you’re not likely to see much change in size but it’s just one of those things where time will tell.
I’ve got comparison pictures on my profile which show the changes so hopefully that’ll help you see how they might change. I’ll attach a picture of how they look today (15WPO).
