my admission time was 8am and had op at 11.15, altho was told it would be 1-2 hours after admission time but they were running little late xxx

totally know what you mean i was exactly the same was hoping to be first on the list. Was bit of waitin around but wasnt too bad it wet quick once surgeon, nurse and anaesthitist had come and done all there checks. take some mags and ipod to try and distract yourself a bit have you got someone going with you? xx
no im going on my own as my mum and bf are at work, ive had ga before so i know what to expect but i was only 13. xx
Your be fine ul just be drowsy after probably and want to sleep on and off so dont need company.u got tv take ipod magazines and phone and ul be sorted. lots of nurses checkin on u to make sure ur comfortable and bring u food/drinks. i was nervous about ga as hadnt had 1 before but shouldnt have worried it was fine xxx

Lots and lots luck with it ul be fine let us know how you get on. Just take it really easy on ur weekend away even tho ul prob feel ok ur body still healing and recovering xxx

Yea ul be fine its only what you ‘d be doin at home, ur not supposed to spend days in bed or anything anyway !
