Got my admission time of 12pm on Monday at First Trust in Preston. So excited now it’s beyond belief after waiting for years!

Can anyone recommend anything to take it with?

Also, anyone else had a simular admission time there? What kind of time did you go down to theatre? Xx

my op was 11 days ago at fitzroy. you wouldn’t believe what i brought with me lol but what it turned out to be necessary were: hubby’s shirt, shorts, espadrilles, spare panties, tooth paste and brush (with floss and gargle if you must), phone and charger. they give you food, slippers, hospital gown, socks and dressing gown so you don’t need to bring it with you. bring entertainment such as books, mags or ipad or a chatty companion as you might have to wait hours before your surgery. i had to wait 5 hours for mine. hope it helps and best of luck! x

I got there at 10am my admission was 10:30. Told to put on my gown etc then didn’t see anyone for hours, went out to ask what was going on at 3:30 and one of the nurses came and told me it’d be about another hour. Finally went down at about 5:30 came round about 6:45 and had to stay overnight in the end. All the nurses were lovely bar one.
