How long before surgery can you not drink? My operation is on the 12th but I’m going to a wedding on the 4th (8 days before) wondering if it is Zero alcohol or I would be ok to have a glass of champagne ect ? :/

it’s about 2 weeks prior to surger. I think!! I’m a bit worried as I’ve had a couple of glasses of wine in the past few weeks with going to a few events, my ba is on Wednesday and haven’t had any alcohol this week xxx

I know I’m thinking if I have a few glasses of wine it will make my nerves even worse on the day ! I have looked online and some of the cosmetic clinics answers say no alcohol 48hrs to a week! so I think it veries. My friend just had a nose job on the mhs and was told no alcohol for a week not sure what the difference with boobs is xx

Hi Liberty, I think they say 48 hours if you don’t drink very much, but 2 weeks if you’re a regular drinker 🙂

It’s to do with alcohol making your blood thinner and therefor would bleed more easily I believe x
