Antibiotics

I’m due to have my BA on Monday silly question but I’m just wondering does everyone get given antibiotics as a precaution or do you only get them if you have an infection

by what I was told in my pre op, everyone has them xx

I never got any today but I’m with a different company xx

They give them to you hun, 2x a day for 7 days to help fight any infection! They also give you 5 days worth of strong painkillers (co-dydramol) which is 1 or 2 four times a day! Can take ibroprufen with them but not paracetamol xx
