    hey everyone,
I finally had my procedure on Friday and think I’m recovering well even though its only been two and a half days. Only feeling a little sick sometimes and bearable pain. I have been living with an ice pack on and around my boobs to help with the swelling.

I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas to help with swelling or general recovery?

    Thanks girlies xxxx

Sounds basic but rest rest and rest. Keep up with your meds and listen to your body. This period will be gone before you know it and you’ll be feeling back to your normal self. I found day 10 to be my turnaround day. On day 10 all of a sudden I felt great, no pain, no I miss having my boyfriend wait on me hand and foot so I might milk it for another week ??

Sorry if you have this twice, sometimes my messages send sometimes they don’t so annoying. Thanks for your response. Ive been resting up it just gets very boring i like to keep busy haha. I have been taking my anti rejection pills to the times that i was told when i was discharged but i find sometimes i don’t really need to take painkillers.. if you don’t take them do you think it would cause any problems? xx

    Hi Janelle,
I have been using either bags of ice or these blue blocks which aren’t heavy at all for my boobs. I just rest them on my chest or under my arms where my drains were. xxx

My partner is a first aider so we have some of those ice pack you “snap” to make freeze (if that makes sense??) but just ice cures in a plastic bag would do I guess. I also got some heat patches from sainsburys for my back when it got sore.
I got bored too but just try and relax and enjoy it, it dosent last forever xx
