Anyone been late for there admission time ?

Hi ladies

Just need things clearing up , so Id booked my train and hotel almost a month in advance for my surgery (28th June) train was leaving home from 8:05am and to be in london for 9:37am. I had told my pc all this on the day and she’s was just as excited as me. I even ran in through with my nurse and she added notes to the system to see if I could have a 11:00 time but this morning I had my admission time come through for 8:00am!!!! So after a lot of phone calls to mya and the Trainline I’ve had to change my train but the problem I have is it arrives in London at 8:05am and it’s a good 12min walk to the surgery ……….. has anyone been a bit late getting to there surgery and if so was they ok about it ?

I had my surgery at Fitzroy, admission time was 8am and due to traffic I didn’t get there until 8:30 I tried to call but no one answered! And when I got there I said sorry I’m late and the receptionist didn’t even say anything really just sent me to waiting room and my surgery didn’t actually happen until 12:30!!!xx

Literally same here, I was about 40 mins late and was freaking out, was at 6am so no one picked up and when i went in there they werent even fussed! thing is in the end youre there waiting around for sooooooooo long that i wish i was even later haha!!

Oh that’s a relief then 🙂 thank you. At least I don’t have to worry if the trains late or something.
