I’ve just had an email with my admission time and gutted it’s 3pm 🙁 has anyone else had this time and what time did you end up getting home? I really don’t want them to say I’ve got to stay over night due to it being too late to be discharged. Also it means my hubby can’t come with me now as he’ll have stay home to put the kids to bed 🙁

    Hi Louise,

I too had an admission time of 3pm. The hospital range me at 13.30 to set off and come earlier as I only lived 20mins away. I went to theatre at 16.15, returned to room at 17.05 and was discharged at 20.15. Wasn’t too bad x

I think it just all depends what they have in on the day! My admission time was 12, and I didn’t end up getting my op till after 6, so by the time my op was done it was after 7 and then couldn’t leave for 3 hours so was there till past 10 o’clock! It was such a long day! But I’ve seen some people get their op like just over an hour after their admission time! So it definitely just depends! Xx

Aww really. That’s such a long day for you Hayley, especially without food too. I’m going to see if there any other times available but I’ll not hold my breath x

Colette, that would be ideal but probably doesn’t happen very often lol. Where did you have your surgery? X
