    Hi ladies ☺️
I am having my ba in 16 days and have been told that i have to be put to sleep completely under General anesthetic (I have Mr Traynor) but I could still be a daycase.
I would have preferred local though 🙁 xxx

Hello! I’m 3 weeks post op today and had a day case (I think most on here do from what I’ve seen). It’s nothing to worry about at all! My admission was 12pm, remember getting the needle to put me to sleep at 6:20pm, back in my room for 7:40pm (they put you in a recovery room after your op then take you back to your own room) then I was discharged at 10:15pm.
They won’t let you leave if something was wrong so don’t worry you’ll be fine ☺️ x

I had my BA at First Trust Preston with Dr Mounir 11 days ago now 🙂 I was admitted at 8am and second in line for my operation. I was seen my nurses, the anesthetist and my surgeon before being taken to theatre at 10.45am. Time really flies! You are totally asleep throughout the operation with no recollection of it, the next thing you know you’re waking up!

You really have nothing to worry about hun, they are very professional and the day will fly by quickly! Once having a couple of cups of tea and some toast I left the hospital at about 3pm. I went for some lunch and then checked into Farington lodge for a bit of r&r!

    Hope this helps xx

Yes I had a day case, I was due to go in at lunch time but ended up going in at night. I booked a hotel close by so I wasn’t too worried, just feel a tad groggy from anaesthetic. X
