SSo I will be 2 years post op on Monday. I’m still suffering from capsular contracture which MYAs aftercare  claimed they would fix if it were to occur. I have been trying to contact birmingham clinic for the past 3 weeks now to get a simple answer from them. I am constantly leaving emails and phone messages with the receptionists who assure me someone will be in touch. … either they aren’t passing the message on or my PC who is also meant to be the manager is choosing to ignore me  which seems to be the case ever since they had my money. I’ve been ringing since 8.30 this morning and still had no luck, ive also sent at least 5 emails to my PC the past 2 weeks that are being ignored. I am leaving a post here in hope someone else can contact me regarding my reop…

Omg all this really worries me about the after care. How far away are you from them? Maybe going in there and putting up a fuss might get you somewhere? It must be awful having to live with CC! And soo frustratin being ignored! Do you know what grade you have xx

I have grade 3 CC I was diagnosed over 18 months ago yet still find myself struggling to get my reop done with them as my surgeon has left the company which is obviously out of my control… it’s just a joke. I work 10 mins from the clinic so will be paying a visit if they continue to ignore me it’s so unprofessional I’ve never known anything like it. My dog gets better treatment at the vet xx

Bless you! I haven’t had my op yet but the service I have received so far has also been absolutely awful. No replies to emails nobody answers the phone. Two of my Pc’s have been sacked and I was never notified and I still haven’t got a replacement. I am purely sticking it out to get the surgeon I want but I know if I have any problems afterwards I will have to be straight on the train to London causing all hell because it’s the only way they will listen!!! I really hope you manage to get sorted but if I were you I would save yourself the stress and just get in there and demand to speak to people face to face. X

Oh no that’s really unfair and unacceptable hun, especially before you’ve even had your op, worry and stress is last thing you need. Im sure youll be fine! I couldn’t fault the service I received pre op and with my consultations etc. I was extremely happy and loved my results, just a shame I was unlucky and developed capsular contracture, im very disappointed in the service now I’m in need and not receiving the aftercare I paid for. My next step is to book a day off work just so I can go in person xx

Thanks MYA mod I look forward to getting some answers x

    Hi Laura,
Sorry to hear you’re having such an awful time of it at the moment 🙁 I really hope MYA sort it out for you.
Can I ask what your symptoms were leading up to being diagnosed with CC? Were there any early signs? Xx

Thanks for your concern hun, I always noticed my boobs were slightly diff sizes after my op which wasn’t the case beforehand, also my breast woth the cc never seemed to drop and fluff and sat higher on my chest. I didn’t really notice the pain until 5 months post op I thought it was just all part of healing process. Hope this helps xx

Mya mod…. still waiting for any form of contact from anyone..
