It’s my first time posting!
So I have my surgery booked for the 22nd. I’ve met with the surgeon and had the pre-op with the nurse and each time I’ve told them I’m 7 stone and 5ft 1 and they never checked. I’ve just weighed myself at my mums (I don’t own scales) and my weight is a little lower (6 stone 11) and its puts my BMI as underweight 🙁 I’m so worried that my surgery won’t go
ahead! Has anybody has surgery with a low BMI?
my bmi was underweight and the limit MYA has was 17 and my BMI was 17.4 i think? they’ll tell you at surgeon consultations and your pre op if it’s of any concern to surgery going ahead or not xxx
