Hey amber i am in same boat, gym 3 times a week and hockey 3 times a week. Im hoping i can get back to hockey after 6 weeks but really hoping i can get to the gym before then so i dont lose all fitness. Would be great to hear from someone other girls experiences….

Thanks for ur reply. Ye I don’t want to lose my progress that I’ve built up but then again don’t want to risk recovery! When is your op date I’m in a week today. Hopefully there will be more girls out there further in that can help x

Im 4days post op now and had overs so recovery will be quicker than unders. Still i think it will take at least two weeks to feel normal again. Still a bit tender x

I haD unders and waited 10weeks before going back to exercising. Each person is different but I would def say to wait 8 weeks. I’m back to training 3 times a week and have lost all chest/upper body strength!

Hi stace. Do you do much running and impact exercise? If so how do they feel now? I am completely expecting upper body to go to mush for a bit but hoping i can keep the bottom half in a better place….fingers and thunder thighs crossed lol x

I do run and went and bought The Ultimate Run Bra. It’s £40 or thereabouts but is the most supportive running bra I have tried. The first couple of months I felt heavy whilst running, but that has got better over time and I really think investing in a decent running bra helped 🙂

Just don’t have the implants Under te muscle. I had to have a re-op as it was too painful to exercise..even to the point of pulling a heavy fire door in work. 2 months post op now and still not the same when doing push-ups
