Cancellation

Hi,

Was due to have my op tomorrow with Dr Mounir, got a call at 4pm today to say he has a spinal injury and has cancelled. I feel like I’m stuck in limbo at the moment as I don’t have a new date yet.

Has anyone else been cancelled today?

Hi Laurie i was due to see Mr Mounir today also but for my 3 month check up i will be seeing him now on thw 1st March.

I hope they get back to you with a new date.

I’m absolutely gutted for you!! Have they spoke to you since? My surgery is 2 weeks Monday but after reading this I’m panicking now :'( xx

I’m booked for Monday too with dr mounir !
I’ve booked a hotel at 120 for the night, booked time off work and my husband has booked time off too
Hope it’s not a big let down !

I’d got holidays in at work, my mum had put holidays in to have the little one, my husband had booked a hotel room, we’d got someone coming to dog sit – now it’s all gone tits up (excuse the pun!)

Not heard anything else as of yet. Been told that they’ll be in contact either today or tomorrow.

I’ve even said that if it’s serious and Dr Mounir will be off a considerable amount of time, then I’d like a different surgeon. We go away at the end of April and I’d really got my heat set on having my new boobies by then…

I’ll keep you all posted!

Still not heard anything. Was told they’ll either call today or tomorrow. It feels awful not knowing! I was so excited… Keep clock watching thinking “I should have my new boobies by now!”

I spoke to jade at Nottingham earlier and she said I’m definitely having my op with dr mounir on Monday and that he was having steroids but said he’s ok to do Breast enlargements I’m so relieved xx

Mines still Monday. I hope the girl who post this is gets her appointment rearranged soon. X

I’ve just spoken with my PC, Ria (she’s been amazing and has been constantly updating me since lunchtime!) Mr Mounir is operating Monday I believe but isn’t doing majors. I’m classed as a major as I have to stay in over night (I’m having mastopexy with implants)

I will now be having Ms. Lutz, consulation next week with op on the 20th Feb at the Fitzroy. So relieved to have a date sorted!

Yes. The hubby isn’t happy though. My consultation with the new surgeon is 3 hours away and now it’s in London we face expensive train fares and the hotels are double the price. I’ve text my PC to see if she can at least get the consultation done at a closer clinic.
