Hey ladies! I have my surgery booked for the 15th may and i just wanted to check something..when i had my consultation my surgeon mentioned that i shouldn’t take any blood thinners for a month before surgery (makes sense) and then she mentioned not to take any paracetamol either..which i thought was odd. So basically im just gunna lay off drinking, any tablets at all and no fake tan either 😉 up until my surgery to be sure. Did anyone else hear this? And another thing thats worrying me is iv heard so many girls on here have been cancelled on last min! Like if mine gets cancelled i wont be able to have them done until like November time?! Because i just cant take that much time off with my job..so im really worried because some girls have said they were all ready for theatre and then it got cancelled? I didnt realise this could happen..its private care 🙁 anyone else freaking out? I just want boobs! Also last last thing, if anyone is paying for there procedure over the 10 month period with MYAs finace option and want to pay more so you can get it over with..how are you paying it? Xx

I was told no medication for 2 weeks before surgery and no alcohol for 48hours (but big drinking sessions 2 weeks). I was cancelled 5 days before due to an error in my paperwork made by the clinic staff. They can cancel if the surgeon is sick, or theres a problem with equipment (last month there was a problem with the air con at Fitzroy). They will not operate if the conditions are not safe but it doesn’t seem to be a regular thing. I would worry about cancellation as long as you stick to their advice and don’t give them a reason to cancel you. Cant help with finance as I paid upfront.

I got told I wasn’t allowed to take ibuprofen but never got told anything about paracetamol. My journey with Mya was an breeezre, no problems or anything. I went with the Mya finance and I am paying it back over the next 10 monhs but my first payment isn’t due out until next week because I’m only 27dpo but if you want to pay some more back early then I would suggest getting in touch with your PC and seeing if she could help you as I don’t know how to go about doing that because it’s just direct debits xx
