Can't get my piercings out :(

Ive got my tragus and conch pierced and I can’t for the life of me get the bars out, ive tried everything!! 🙁 will they let me leave them in, seriously can’t get them out 🙁

I’ve got my tongue web pierced but it’s so hard to get back in so hoping I don’t have to take it out.. Forgot to ask the nurse about piercings x

Oh gosh I bet it is hard! I need to ring the clinic tomorrow anyway so I’ll ask about them! X

Hi girls. When I was in the hospital last Thursday I asked if I can keep some piercings and my ring on. The nurse said no and explained about burns in operating theatre if any metal was to be left on us. Can’t remember exactly what she said but remember getting all piercings out as those burns sounded horrible. Anyway yeah no piercings! Hope you girls manage to get them out. Good luck xx

Hi girls, had my surgery on the 28th I couldn’t take out my piercings on my ears but they put plasters over them, don’t stress out too much, you just need to sign a form xx

You can probably sign a consent form for burns but the nurse said any piercings in the mouth can be a risk because of the tube down your throat when you’re under general to help you breathe, some tools can rip them out xx

Aw that’s good! My piercings close up quick so I’m praying my tongue doesn’t! Ive had it in since I was 15 and can’t image being without it now lol xx

I was really surprised it didn’t close up! I would have been gutted! Thought my nipples would have closed up too but they didn’t either. I was really lucky, hopefully you will be too! Xo

I was told I could wear plastic bars instead and had to order a special thing to open up my Tragus hoop as I’ve had the same one in since having it done… Order plastic and change them over 🙂

Alex I took my nipple bar out and within half hour it closed up completely! So you’re very lucky! 🙂
Yeah I’ll order plastic ones now 🙂 xx

I have a dermal piercing in my cleavage and I really don’t want to take it out! does anyone have any experience with this? im hoping as the metal is non-magnetic that I can screw the gem out and put a plaster over the top as to have it removed I will have to have it cut out and I love it xxx

Hey Girls!! I have lots of piercings and I was aloud to keep the ears and belly button in but the nurse put a plaster over it. In terms of my oral piercing I had to take them all out!! N as soon as your out of surgery you can put them back in.
Unfortunately my tongue web closed up so i plan on getting it redone

Ooo and if you can’t take the piercings out ask the nurse to help!! I’m sure they wouldn’t mind… That’s how I managed to get mine out… ps I did not go with MYA so I don’t know If the nurses are willing to help but there is no harm in asking

Hi girls the burns are caused by a diatherm its the tool that heats up and seals bleeding it corterises things. Any metal heats up and causes burns as it gets super hot.

I hope we don’t have to! I have Dermals in my back and there’s no way for the life of me that I’ll get those out without having them permanently removed. 🙁 Anyone else got dermals? Xx
